On the car ride home from Boston this weekend, the topic of Top Fives came up. Partly out of road trip boredom and partly to off set Marvs’ overwhelming desire to belt out country tunes at the top of her lungs.

My geek heart be still! She’s a bad ass in a uniform with a sarcastic sense of humor.
(Side Note: My GF actually went as Starbuck for Halloween… yeah, it kinda made my year)

Sara Ramirez pops up in an awful lot of top 5s… For good reason. I have a very hard time not pouncing my television every thursday… (gee, that little line between reality and fiction is thin).

Gah! Totally outed. But who doesn’t love them a little Bobby McGee? Sadly, Janis does not make my list in this context. I second Kate Walsh with a resounding “hell yes”. I would also include Lauren Bacall back in the day.

It’s funny to note that a lot of 70′s to even early 80′s “classic rock” (the Eagles, Janis Joplin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, .38 Special) would actually be considered “country” nowadays by current production standards. :p

1.Jennifer Nettles(lead singer for the band, Sugarland)- amazingly powerful voice, and a rockin body. =)
2.Kelly Clarkson- hmm…where do I begin? I truly believe deep down she’s playing for our team….she just needs to embrace it!
3. Sara Ramirez- Ok…I just love her!! She’s so…I don’t know….I just freakin love her…her attitude reminds me of myself…
4.Sandra Bullock- i’ve loved her since even before I realized I was gay! Lol! I love anyone that can laugh at themselves and not take themselves too seriously…(which, looking at my list so far….all these ladies do this…)
5.Tina Fey- I do dig a cutie in a pair of glasses….and she’s freakin hilarious!

Can I just add to this mix Kate Micucci (because the “adorkable” factor knocks my socks off), and Feist. If you’ve seen her live, you’ll understand. SO CUTE. Before I was out (to myself, to the world, to my then-boyfriend), he and I had an agreement that if either of us ever had the opportunity to sleep with Feist, we would take it. If only.
