The real Lesbian Turkish oil wrestlingBy Grace Chu |
As I was returning home from dinner last night I received a text message informing me that lesbian Turkish oil wrestling would be taking place six blocks from my house in half an hour, so of course I had to show up. Kiki, the Tuesday night party launched by Kacie Finance would be holding a lesbian oil wrestling tournament. I walked in and observed that the dance floor at Mix Cafe and Lounge in Astoria had been transformed into a wrestling ring. There was a kiddie pool full of oil in the back.
Commentary isn’t needed.

This person tries to deflect attention away from all the flailing in oil by singing karaoke.

Mix at 40-17 30th Avenue in Astoria will be having ladies nights every Tuesday. Oil wrestling will return, as will beer pong tournaments. Yes, oil wrestling and beer pong. These are, um, “our stories.” (But I don’t think Ilene Chaiken would be very good at beer pong.)

So is Turkish oil wrestling going to get added to the NYC Gay Sports Scene alongside the Softball Mafia and Dodge Ball League?
BC if so, I might reconsider moving out west and maybe head east.

Ahahah and that’s an actual Turkish rug on the floor =D
So I’m a Turkish lesbian, and when I first saw that episode with the wrestling I just couldn’t stop laughing because there was a lesbian oil wrestling tournament here just a couple of weeks before =D
It’s an annual thing now, I competed in the last years one =P
