   ha ha, rosen thought that “northampton” was part of the hamptons. but see… if there were a “north” hampton, it would be in the middle of long island.

   on another note, a friend of ours came by to stay with us in p-town after she made a pit stop in northampton, and she mentioned to us that many of the discussions among her friends up there revolved around how “the L word” and the mainstreaming of lesbians in general was deplorable, etc. etc. etc. i asked her to drive me there just so i could argue with them, but then we became distracted by a gas grill and beer. hey, i tried.

    agreed. but the four hour drive to northampton to say “no” to such bashers wasn’t worth the trouble.
