So here I go, my first foray into the blogging world. Many may ask why would anyone jump on the this oversaturate bandwagon. Well this site is for me and my girlfriend … but really mostly me!
Grace Chu is the original blogger of our duo and the one who knew how to set up this site, but it is I who felt the need to start the blog ….
Why is the blog needed, you ask? Well lately I have been feeling rather blah about myself – mostly career wise. I am nearing 30 years old and make a decent living but feel I am about to hit a crossroads. Do I stay in the same path I’m in, a Customer Care Manager, or change career focus? Some of you may be thinking a manager position … not too shabby … well I often feel like I am just chief admin at my firm … oh and the first to get yelled at by the customers when the product is faulty, which happens more than it should! Going back to school or changing careers is also complicated … I am at the age where starting a family is a big goal of mine and well, can you really have it all?! Can you have a high powered job in NYC and still be a great parent? Oh and the lesbian thing … that complicates the whole parenting issue even more … obviously the immaculate conception isn’t going to happen again … so that takes even more planning and causes more “what ifs”.
Sorry for the stream of consciences … I have so many thoughts in my head but can’t quite organize my train of thought, which brings me back to why this blog is important to me. I am hoping this forum will provide me the means to sort out my thoughts, opinions, questions, and fears while possibly getting constructive feedback from the readers.
I got to get going for now. I just wanted to give you a little insight about me. I promise there is way more to come. If any of you have topic suggestions … post a comment with your ideas.

If you don’t believe in immaculate conception, but enjoy the idea of lesbians bearing young without the need for men…check out “Herland” by Charlotte Perkins Gilman (1915). See… the idea was around long before we were!
